Praise for truepenny’s The Good Thief by Conor McPherson, June 2021

“Congratulations on a tremendous performance of The Good Thief! What an intense, nuanced, rich character with a disturbing yet moving story…. I was NOT expecting the full intensity of that piece!” - Amanda Whitworth, recent New Hampshire Artist Laureate, Co-founder of Articine

“I don’t remember ever attending a play where there was just one actor but I literally felt like I was sitting across the table listening to his adventure and smiling at his sense of humor.” - Pamela, Moultonborough

“Wow! I’m so impressed by your performance. Honestly, I didn’t even know it was you - you took me right into the character and the story and really just captivated me for an hour. I felt like we were sitting at a table together, and I laughed out loud at some parts, but also was very saddened by other parts. The soured bitterness of love not received or returned. I think this person will stay with me for a while. Bravo!” - Roland Sarkis, Franklin
